The short version: three plans, from $1,999 a month on month-to-month terms, or less on annual billing. Ad spend is extra and paid directly to the platform. The right plan is the one where the expected extra gross profit comfortably exceeds the fee, and we'll do that sum with you before you sign anything.

The plans

Our plans follow the published Trades.Agency pricing. All prices are in Canadian dollars; Ontario clients add 13% HST.

Plan Month-to-month Billed annually What it covers
Growth $1,999/month $1,499/month The essential channels for a trade that already has steady customers
Elite $3,999/month $2,999/month More channels running at once, and half price on any Trades.Agency website design package
Enterprise $7,999/month $5,999/month Your own marketing team with priority support, with a website design and build of any package at no charge

Terms are month to month with no long-term contract. You can cancel with 30 days' notice, and annual commitments come with the lower rates above.

What each plan tends to suit in Waterloo

These are typical fits, not rules:

  • Growth suits an owner-led trade with a working website that needs local search, a review routine and either modest paid search or a first push into rental work.
  • Elite suits a firm running several channels at once, for example local search, paid search and property-manager outreach, or one that needs a new website at the discounted design rate.
  • Enterprise suits a multi-crew business serving Waterloo and neighbouring municipalities, with enough volume to justify a dedicated team and a full website build.

What drives the cost

Four things decide which plan you need:

  1. How many services you want to grow. One service with depth is cheaper than five at once.
  2. Your starting point. A site that needs rebuilding or a suspended Google profile means more upfront work.
  3. Channels. Organic only, paid only, or both, plus whether you want B2B outreach to landlords and managers.
  4. Competition. Some trades in some wards are crowded and need more content and testing; others aren't.

Ad spend sits on top of the plan and varies with your ceiling and capacity. Some clients spend nothing on ads at all and put the whole effort into organic search and rental outreach; others run ads only in the weeks before peak season. Both are reasonable, and we'll recommend whichever fits your margins. Our paid-search page shows how we work out that ceiling.

Is it worth it? A worked check

Use your own numbers in place of these.

  • Plan: Growth on annual billing, $1,499 a month, plus HST.
  • Average invoice: $700. Gross margin: 45%, so about $315 per job.
  • Jobs needed just to cover the plan fee: about 5 a month.

Now add the rental angle. Suppose one property-management client sends you 15 jobs a year at that margin. That one relationship produces around $4,700 in gross profit annually. Two or three such clients, plus a modest rise in homeowner work, and the plan pays for itself several times over. If your numbers don't come out that way, we'll say so.

What's free, and what isn't

  • Free: the first 30-minute consultation for eligible trades businesses, and the arithmetic above.
  • Included in plans: strategy, setup, content, management and monthly reporting within the plan's scope.
  • Not included: ad spend, third-party software you choose to buy, and printing for items like review cards.

Choosing without regret

  1. Write down your average invoice, margin and close rate.
  2. Decide how many extra jobs a month you can actually handle.
  3. Start month-to-month if you're unsure, and switch to annual billing once the numbers prove out.
  4. Check every month that you own the accounts and can see the data.

Questions not answered here are probably on the FAQ page. The contact page lists what to send us so the free consultation starts with your real numbers.

Frequently asked questions

Is ad spend included in the plan price?

No. Ad spend goes directly to Google or another platform from your own account. The plan fee covers planning, setup, management, content and reporting.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Nothing locks you in past the current month; give us 30 days' notice and the plan ends. Annual billing gives a lower monthly rate in exchange for the commitment.

Do prices include HST?

No. Prices are in Canadian dollars, and Waterloo Region clients add 13% HST.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes. Eligible trades businesses get a free 30-minute first consultation, separate from any paid plan, with no obligation to sign up.

Why don't you price per lead?

Per-lead pricing rewards volume over quality and often means the agency owns the leads. We'd rather you own every account and judge us on cost per booked job.
